Vijay Starrer Thalapathy 66 gets these actors on board! : Bollywood News

Thalapathy 66 is garnering a lot of attention as once again fans can see their beloved Beast star Vijay in a rather different avatar. The film is expected to be a family entertainer with an elaborate cast ensemble. While Rashmika Mandanna was already roped in as the leading lady, the makers of the film took to social media to announce another set of star cast who will be leading the film.

Vijay Starrer Thalapathy 66 gets these actors on board!

Amidst the popular South celebrities, one of the most beloved actor-director Prakash Raj, popular star Sarath Kumar and legendary star Shivaji Ganeshan’s son Prabhu have been roped in for the film. Comedian Yogi Babu will be a part of the film too. Besides that, Tamil hero Shaam and Telugu star Srikanth have been roped in for the film. If reports are to be believed, the two actors are expected to play the role of Vijay’s elder brothers.

As for the actresses in the film, while Rashmika Mandanna is the leading lady of Thalapathy 66, the film will also include Sangeeta Krish Perody, actress Samyukta, and veteran actress Jayasudha in pivotal roles.

Speaking about the film, Thalapathy 66 is directed by Vamsi Paidipally, who earlier directed Mahesh Babu starrer Maharishi. The film is produced by Dil Raju and the music is expected to be composed by Thaman. The shooting is expected to have already started and the film is slated to release by Pongal 2023.
