Vijay to kick-start filming of Thalapathy 66 in March 2022 : Bollywood News

Vijay is currently filming the action movie Beast, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar in Tamil. In the film, he is paired opposite actress Pooja Hegde. Aparna Das and Yogi Babu both play significant roles in the film. According to the reports, Vijay's 66th film will begin filming in March of this year.

In a recent interview with a tabloid, producer Dil Raju stated that the film would be released on either Diwali 2022 or Makar Sankranthi 2023. But nothing has been confirmed as of yet. Raju also stated that it is a feel-good film, while Vijay said that he had not heard a nice script in a long time.

Thalapathy 66 is said to be a feel-good family drama in which Vijay would play a dual character. Sri Venkateswara Creations, which is co-owned by Dil Raju and Shirish, will produce the film, and S Thaman will compose the music.

Meanwhile, Vijay is currently wrapping up the filming of Beast which will release in theatres on April 14, 2022.
