Vijay and Pooja Hegde starrer Beast to release in April 2022; makers share new intense poster of the superstar : Bollywood News

The year began with the release of Thalapathy Vijay's blockbuster film Master. Despite the COVID-19 pandemic and theatres running at 50 percent capacity, the film witnessed massive footfalls across the country. Now, the actor is ending the year with a new poster of Beast. The makers also announced that the film will be released in April 2022.

The makers of Beast shared an intense poster of Vijay while announcing that the film will be released in theatres in April 2022. In the new poster, an intense-looking Vijay is seen with scars on his face and sporting salt and pepper beard and hair.

Directed by Nelson Dilip Kumar, the film has Pooja Hegde in the lead. Beast will reunite actor Vijay and music composer Anirudh Ravichander. The two last worked together in the film Master. The tracks from the film were superhit and were loved by people across the country.

The film which had gone on floors on March 31 was wrapped up earlier this month. With the film releasing in April, it will be the third major release of the month. KGF 2 and Aamir Khan's Laal Singh Chaddha are all set to release on April 14, 2022.
