Vijay donates Rs 1 crore to Nadigar Sangam building project; receives heartfelt thanks from Vishal : Bollywood News

Actor-turned-politician Thalapathy Vijay has donated Rs 1 crore towards the construction of the Nadigar Sangam building. The South Indian Artistes' Association (SIAA), also known as Nadigar Sangam, is a prominent union body in Chennai that represents actors from the Tamil film industry.

The association has been undertaking efforts to construct a dedicated building for its members for over a decade. While construction began in 2017, financial constraints led to a temporary halt. However, with prominent figures like Kamal Haasan and Vijay stepping forward with significant donations, the project has gained renewed momentum.

Following Vijay's contribution, Nadigar Sangam secretary and actor Vishal expressed his gratitude on a social media platform (formerly Twitter). In an emotional post, Vishal acknowledged the importance of Vijay's support for the project's completion. He stated, "Yes, we always knew the building would be incomplete without your support and involvement. Now you have fuelled us to make it happen as soon as possible brother."

On the work front, Vijay is currently busy with the filming of his upcoming movie, Greatest of All Time (GOAT), directed by Venkat Prabhu. Speculations regarding this being Vijay's final film venture due to his political focus have been circulating. However, there are also reports suggesting he might take up one more project after GOAT. Official confirmation on these speculations is awaited.
