Telugu actor Vijay Deverakonda is currently busy with the promotions of his upcoming movie Liger which is days away from the release on the big screen. It marks his first pan-India release. The film also stars Ananya Panday and Ramya Krishnan in pivotal roles. As the actor is gearing up for Liger, the team wishes megastar Chiranjeevi today on his birthday with a special video.

In the video, Vijay, Puri and team Liger visit Godfather set where they meet Chiranjeevi who is shooting a special song with Salman Khan. The first teaser of Chiranjeevi starrer Godfather was unveiled on Sunday ahead of his birthday today. The makers have shared the first glimpse of the film which is loaded with slow-motion moments and larger-than-life action. Salman Khan is also seen in the teaser and will have extended cameo. Nayanthara will be seen in a crucial role. Puri Jagannadh and Satya Dev are the other prominent cast. Nirav Shah handles the camera, while Suresh Selvarajan is the art director.

Meanwhile, Liger will see Vijay Deverakonda play the role of an underdog boxer who makes his way to international fame. The movie will also feature a cameo of former American professional boxer Mike Tyson. Being made in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages, the movie is scheduled for release in theatres worldwide on 25th August 2022.
