The makers of Peddi officially announced its theatrical release date at a large-scale event, confirming that the Ram Charan starrer will arrive in cinemas on June 4, 2026. The film, directed by Buchi Babu Sana, has been generating significant anticipation ever since its announcement and continues to remain one of the most talked-about projects of the year.
The event witnessed the presence of several prominent industry names, including filmmaker Sukumar, who shared his thoughts on Ram Charan’s performance in the film. “You haven’t witnessed a performance like this before from Ram Charan,” he said, adding to the growing curiosity surrounding the actor’s role.
Director Buchi Babu Sana also spoke about the emotional depth of the film, stating, “Taking Peddi out of your heart isn’t that easy.” Producer Venkata Satish Kilaru described the film as “Peddi is an emotional Ride!” while cinematographer R. Rathnavelu added, “We've tried something different in a commercials way and it'll work really big.”
Alongside Ram Charan, the film features Janhvi Kapoor and Jagapathi Babu in key roles, with additional appearances by Shiva Rajkumar and Divyendu Sharma. Backed by Vriddhi Cinemas in collaboration with Mythri Movie Makers, the film is positioned as a large-scale commercial entertainer.
The film’s music, composed by A. R. Rahman, has also played a key role in building momentum. The first single, ‘Chikiri Chikiri’ received a strong response upon release and following it, even the second track, ‘Rai Rai Raa Raa’ has also gained significant traction further amplifying interest in the film’s soundtrack.
In addition to its music, the teaser and promotional assets have contributed to the film’s visibility, with each content drop offering a glimpse into its narrative and visual scale. The makers have steadily built engagement without revealing too many plot details, maintaining intrigue around the storyline.
With its ensemble cast, high-profile technical team, and consistent promotional momentum, Peddi is being positioned as a major theatrical release in 2026.
