SS Rajamouli says Prabhas “looks like an idiot but he is shrewd”; Salaar co-star Prithviraj Sukumaran agrees : Bollywood News

As the Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire release is around the corner, renowned filmmaker SS Rajamouli interviewed Prashanth Neel, Prabhas, and Prithviraj. During their candid conversation, the director and actors of Salaar shared their thoughts on various aspects of the making of the film. Speaking of the same, Prashanth confessed that Prabhas would not make any corrections to whatever he gave him, which eventually made him wonder whether he was on the right path.

Reacting to Prashanth's remark, SS Rajamouli asserted that Prabhas might come across as someone who doesn’t understand, but in reality, he is shrewd. It all happened when Neel said, “When the hero says whatever I have written is fantastic, I go back and wonder whether this is enough. That’s the worst part of working with Prabhas.”

Responding to the same, Prabhas said that he will keep saying things can be made better during Salaar Part 2. Later, Rajamouli added, “I made a statement about Prabhas in Telugu. It loosely translates into, ‘Prabhas is a person who looks like an idiot but he is absolutely shrewd.”

While agreeing with the RRR director, Prithviraj said, “It is true that he makes us believe that he doesn’t know anything, but that is not the case.” he continued lauding Prabhas and said, “The rest of us all have to perform and try, but he just has to stand there and do nothing. I told the same thing to him on the first day of the shoot.”

Coming back to Salaar, it is slated to release tomorrow, December 22. Along with Prabhas and Prithviraj, the film also stars Shruti Haasan. It is facing a clash with Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki, which has been released today.
