Not too long ago, the internet was fuming over Om Raut kissing Kriti Sanon. And now days later, the social media users were another filmmaker for repeating the same with Mannara Chopra. Mannara, who is also the cousin of Priyanka Chopra, has been juggling between her career in Bollywood and South industry. The Zid actress was recently taken by aback by the gesture of her Thiragabadara Saami filmmaker AS Ravi Kumar Chowdary, who kissed her during an event and the video has been going viral on social media.

It seems that Mannara Chopra and AS Ravi Kumar Chowdary were promoting their forthcoming release, and they were interacting with the paparazzi. Later, when they posed as a team for the shutterbugs around, after a few poses, Mannara was taken aback when the director AS Ravi Kumar Chowdary did not even seek permission and kissed her on her cheek, leaving her shocked. Although she was taken aback by his behavior, she soon smiled and recomposed, and politely expressed gratitude towards the paps.

However, this gesture of Ravi Kumar has not gone down well on social media users who continued to troll the filmmaker for his action. “Think about her how she would have felt,” asked one of them whereas another one added, “Imagine if these men-in-charge can take advantage in front of public cameras, what they are capable of behind closed doors?” Yet another user commented, “She was feeling embarrassed”. Another netizen continued, “This is sexual harassment”. While some accused the actress for maintain silence, a few others also commented about how actresses have to go through this ordeal all the time in the industry.

Talking about the film, Thiragabadara Saami stars Raj Tarun as the leading man along with Mannara Chopra and it is slated for release later this year.
