This festival, which is celebrated in the month of August, is celebrated across the state of Kerala in a lavish way with Pookalam (flowers rangoli) along with them adorning Kerala style ethic clothes and a feast to commemorate the occasion. Along with them, many of the superstars from the industry often celebrate this festival in a rather traditional manner.
