Shruti Haasan to do a cameo in Nani 30 co-starring Mrunal Thakur : Bollywood News

Not too long ago, Nani announced his next, which is being referred to as Nani 30, alongside Sita Ramam actress Mrunal Thakur with much fanfare. The film is expected to revolve around father-daughter relationship and is currently being shot extensively in Goa. Recently, it has been revealed that Shruti Haasan too will be a part of film but in a cameo appearance. Although details are being kept under wraps, it seems that the actress has given a nod for the same.

While audiences are eagerly waiting to see her with Prabhas in Salaar, we are sure her fans will also be excited to see her alongside Nani. A source close to the actress confirmed the development adding, “The film's makers were looking for someone with star power to make an impact, and they couldn't have found a better fit than Shruti. She has always been someone who loves to challenge herself and explore new territories in her craft. Shruti has always liked Nani's work, and she is thrilled to be part of the project.”

The source also revealed that Shruti Haasan has been travelling to Goa frequently where the film’s lengthy schedule is being completed. However, the filmmakers are tight lipped about the character she will be essaying in the film.

As for the crew of Nani 30, Sanu John Varughese ISC will be handling the camera, whereas, popular Malayalam composer Hesham Abdul Wahab of Hridayam fame will be scoring the music. Praveen Anthony will the editor, Avinash Kolla is the Production Designer and Sheetal Sharma will be costume designer. The film is slated for a Christmas release, as it is all set to hit the theatres on December 21, 2023.
