Nani and Mrunal Thakur commence shoot of Nani 30; superstar Chiranjeevi attends the ‘mahurat shot’ : Bollywood News

While Nani shared the wrap up of Dasara earlier this month, he will already be jumping on to his next venture which is tentatively titled Nani 30. Directed by debutant filmmaker Shouryuv, the film will feature Mrunal Thakur who made her South debut with Dulquer Salmaan starrer Sita Ramam. The film is an emotional family drama and its shoot will be commencing this week. In fact, the entire team attended the ‘mahurat shot’ and pooja before kick starting the film, which was held in Hyderabad today.

On Tuesday morning, the entire cast and crew attended the ‘mahurat shot’ of Nani 30 and present at the same was also megastar Chiranjeevi who held the clapboard. Ashwini Dutt was invited to switch on the camera and along with them, present at the location was also Buchi Babu, Kishore Thirumala, Hanu Ragavapudi, Vasistha, and Vivek Athreya who were invited as guests to directed the first shot. Many other guests include Vijayendra Prasad, Devakatta, Suresh babu, Dil Raju, among others attended the ceremony as guests. The regular shoot of the movie will commence from tomorrow in Hyderabad. Mrunal Thakur will be working with Nani for the first time. Talking about it and Nani 30, the actress added, “I’m sure elated and excited to be part of this project. It’s a really heartwarming story and the team backing the project is immensely talented. I’m looking forward to working with Nani. It’s an interesting curve, given I did the remake of Jersey last year, a film Nani originally starred in”.

Produced by Mohan Cherukuri (CVM), Dr Vijender Reddy Teegala, and Murthy KS under Vyra Entertainments, Nani 30 is expected to be mounted on a high budget along with lavish technicalities. Sanu John Varughese ISC will be handling the camera, whereas popular Malayalam composer Hesham Abdul Wahab of Hridayam fame will score the music along with Praveen Anthony as the editor.
