As the superstar has played a significant role in his life as an inspiration, Rishab felt immensely lucky to finally meet him after a long wait.

Rishab took to his social media and shared some amazing pictures of his meeting with Chiyaan Vikram, and his happiness is clearly visible in the photos. He also wished Chiyaan Vikram for his upcoming film Thangalaan. He penned his excitement in the caption and shared, "In my journey in becoming an actor, #Vikram Sir has always been my inspiration. Coming to Thangalaan, the film is directed by Pa. Ranjith with the music of the film being composed by GV Prakash Kumar. Based on the real life incidents of Kolar Gold Fields, the film will feature Chiyaan Vikram in a never-seen-before avatar along with Malavika Mohanan, Parvathy Thiruvothu in prominent roles as well as an ensemble supporting cast. The film is scheduled for a worldwide release on August 15, 2024, in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam languages.

On the work front, Rishab Shetty is working to mark the return of his most popular franchise Kantara with the highly anticipated Kantara: Chapter 1. The film is expected take audiences deeper into the world of the folklore. Additionally, it is being said that the actor is in talks with Bollywood director Ashutosh Gowariker.
