Rana Daggubati reveals Project K will ‘push boundaries’ which even Baahubali and RRR couldn’t; cannot stop gushing about the Prabhas, Deepika Padukone film : Bollywood News

While Prabhas earned pan India fame with his film Baahubali, the actor is expected to woo audience yet again in a unique role with Project K. While audiences are aware about the film being set up in a post-apocalyptic world, a rarely explored sci-fi phenomena in Indian cinema and it has been creating a lot of buzz for its unique subject. Now, hailing about the film was none other than Prabhas’ Baahubali co-star Rana Daggubati, who couldn’t stop praising about the film.

Rana Daggubati, who recently attended India Today’s Conclave South 2023, wherein he revealed that when it comes to South Cinema they often like to promote each other and support each other’s ventures. In the same breath, he opened about the lavish scale in which Project K is being mounted, appreciating the director of the film Nag Ashwin’s vision about the film. “We celebrate each other’s cinema fully,” said Rana.

He went on to add, “There is a film called Project K, which Nag Ashwin is directing with Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone. That’s a film we are really looking forward to in Telugu. That film will, I think will break the boundaries that both Baahubali and RRR haven’t done.” He concluded by saying, “Pushing that boundary to the next edge. I am really looking forward to that film and it could really become a global film from Telugu Cinema.”

Rana Daggubati recently received a lot of love for his web series Rana Naidu. The show brought together the Baahubali star with his uncle and Telugu superstar Venkatesh Daggubati, who essays the role of his father in the series. Rana Naidu is available for streaming on Netflix.

As for Project K, the film is slated to release on January 12, 2024 in multiple languages like Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Telugu.
