Ram Charan reveals Japan is special for him and his pregnant wife Upasana Kamineni Konidela; says, “The magic happened in Japan” : Bollywood News

Readers would recall that Ram Charan had visited Japan during the release of his mega-blockbuster film RRR along with the team of the film, including filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli and Jr NTR. He was also accompanied by his wife Upasana Kamineni Konidela and the couple even shared glimpses of the country on their social media. At the recently held G20 Summit in Srinagar, Ram Charan recalled the memories associated with the country and also revealed that the couple conceived their first child there.

At the G20 Summit in Srinagar, Ram Charan met ambassadors from different countries as he too attended the event as a representative from the Indian film industry to discuss about Film Tourism. During the interaction, Ram recalled his trip to Japan with wife Upasana Kamineni Konidela and said, “I really collect something which makes me remember that country. Now it's just that Japan has become my new favorite country, their culture and people make it a special country. When we went to promote RRR in Japan, it was huge in Japan and the audiences were so sweet.” He continued, “Why I love Japan I’ll tell you. My wife is in the seventh month of her pregnancy and the magic happened in Japan. I will never forget Japan”

He concluded by adding, “All the other G20 friends, who have come here from different countries, each ones are so special to India and the relationship with the country and specially for tourism, we all want to shoot in every country, and all the countries are so rich in their culture and we as Indian actors and Indian films, we all want how these cultures come together and be phenomenal. It's global cinema not Indian cinema and we all want your support.”

Ram Charan and Upasana Kamineni Konidela tied the knot in 2012 and the couple announced the arrival of their first child in December 2022.
