Rajinikanth pens an emotional note for his brother and nephew’s birthday

Megastar Rajinikanth took to social media to give a glimpse of the way his family celebrated the birthday of his brother and his nephew.

Megastar Rajinikanth aka Shivaji Rao Gaikwad, recently took to social media to reveal details about how his brother and his nephew’s birthday celebrations. While the superstar rarely shares posts or updates about his personal life on social media, the recent post left his fans surprised. Furthermore, the actor was also seen getting emotional on the occasion which marked the 80th birthday of his brother. It became even more special, since his brother’s son, i.e. Rajinikanth’s nephew was also turning 60 on the same day.

Owing to the special occasion, Rajinikanth penned a lovely note for his brother Sathyanarayana Rao Gaikwad and the latter’s son Ramakrishna Gaikwad. Along with sharing photos of his brother’s Sadabhishekam and his nephew’s Shashti Poorti along with the entire family, the megastar wrote a note saying, “Had the happiness of celebrating the 80th birthday of my brother Sathyanarayana Rao Gaikwad and the 60th birthday of his son Ramakrishna on the same day with my family … felt blessed to shower gold on this golden heart which made me who I am today… thankful to god.”

Attending the function was also Rajinikanth’s daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth, who not only shared the photos from the Sadabhishekam and Shashti Poorti but also posted about her visit to Annamalaiyar temple in Tiruvannamalai (Tamil Nadu) as well as meeting spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. Giving a sneak peek about the same, Aishwarya posted on her Instagram, saying, “All about yesterday n today was sheer spiritual ways n family’s grace… blessings of shiva #annamalaiyaar in abundance while my periyappa turning 80 n my cousin turned 60! #peace #love #family #guru #god.”

On the work front, Rajinikanth will next be seen in Jailer and the makers released a glimpse of his character, which has received a lot of love from the superstar’s fans. Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, the film is expected to feature an ensemble cast from different Indian film industries like Tamannaah Bhatia, Jackie Shroff, Mohanlal, and Shiva Rajkumar. With music by Anirudh Ravichander, the film is expected to release in summer 2023.
