South sensation Dhanush has been making headlines ever since his latest film Vaathi released. While the film is performing well at the box office and managed to garner a positive response from the critics, there is another reason to congratulate the actor. He has recently built a new house in Chennai’s Poes Garden area and gifted it to his parents. Interestingly, the residency, reportedly worth Rs 150 crores, is coincidentally in the same area where Dhanush’s father-in-law and superstar Rajinikanth lives.

Not only this, but the Tamil actor also hosted a housewarming and the pictures have gone viral. In the photos, making rounds on the internet, Dhanush can be seen sporting a blue-colour kurta and pyjama at the puja. Meanwhile, his parents are seen wearing traditional outfits. Director Subramaniam Shiva shared glimpses of the same on his social media handle.

Going by the images, Dhanush’s mansion features a massive flight of stairs, hinting that it is a duplex mansion. Instagramming the photos, Shiva wrote, “My younger brother Dhanush’s new house is giving me a feel of a temple. In his lifetime, he has provided his parents with a paradise-like home. Even more success and achievements will continue to chase you. May you live long and remain an inspiration for the young generation in honouring parents,” in Tamil. As soon as he shared the two-photo post, a section of netizens flooded the comments section with wishes for the actor.

Coming to the professional front, the 39-year-old actor is currently shooting for his next film with Arun Matheswaran, titled Captain Miller. Along with Dhanush, the upcoming film will also star Priyanka Arul Mohan and Shiv Rajkumar in lead roles.

Besides this, Dhanush has also signed his next film with director Sekhar Kammula, which went on floors last year. In addition, he will soon start work on his next directorial venture, which is currently being titled D50.
