A R Rahman, who is known to be a musical maestro, recently wanted to wow the audiences of Chennai but the event turned into a nightmare of sorts for many. In fact, netizens heavily trolled the organizers for their mismanagement which resulted in the musician apologizing to his fans on social media. After all the hoopla, as the ‘Jai Ho’ composer shared the highlights of this concert titled Marakkuma Nenjam, many of them took to the platform to slam Rahman for posting it online.

Earlier this week, A R Rahman took to X, formerly known as twitter, to share a video which was filled with montages from Marakkuma Nenjam. The video aimed at highlighting the concert which didn’t go down well with the netizens. Many of them found the composer’s gesture insensitive because of the difficulties and challenges they faced at the event. Furthermore, what left them miffed is the fact that the composer had turned off the comments section after he posted the video. One of the users said, “A R Rahman turning off the comment section and putting up concert videos & blatantly being ignorant about fans is the amount of carefreeness I aspire to be in life.” Another user added, “Wow @arrahman the audacity to post concert highlights when people suffered! Nice move Sir!”

For the unversed, the musical concert was accused of being mismanaged as it had resulted in overcrowding and many female audiences also claimed that they were groped and harassed during the chaos that ensued during the event. Followed by the issue, it was also being said that a legal complaint was filed against the organizers owing to the issues at the event.
