R Madhavan and his wife Sarita hosted an intimate bash at their Dubai residence which has gone viral on social media. In one of the photos from the bash, Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar is seen in a rare moment as he attends this party at Madhavan’s place in Dubai. A video was shared by Madhavan’s wife Sarita on the social media platform which gave audiences a glimpse into the happenings of the bash.

From adorning the house of the festive occasion with flower garlands, diyas, and candles, the video showcased the lavish Lakshmi pujan which was held wherein the temple inside his home, along with a photo of Goddess Lakshmi was beautifully decorated. With the guests and hosts dressed in sarees and Indian attires, the bash also featured a scrumptious spread of South Indian food and other Indian cuisine. Ajith Kumar was snapped along with the rest of the guests in a frame-worthy group photo and internet was quick to point out his presence, despite his brief glimpse in the clip. “Happy Deepavali...is that Actor Ajith I spotted” asked a user whereas another one added, “Thala Ajith last pic la”.

Meanwhile, Sarita, who also captioned the video, added the explanation behind celebrating the occasion of Diwali as she wrote, “Diwali is celebrated every year to celebrate the triumph of good over evil as told in the Hindu epic, the Ramayana. Diwali marks the day Rama, Sita, and Lakshmana returned home to Ayodhya after 14 years in exile, after the defeat of Ravana. According to tradition, to welcome Rama, Sita, and Lakshmana home, the citizens of Ayodhya are said to have lit up the streets with diyas”, and concluded with hashtags like Happy Diwali and Diwali Vibes.

On the work front, Madhavan recently received a lot of love for his role as the antagonist in the Ajay Devgn, Jyotika starrer Shaitan. He is expected to have a slew of projects in the pipeline including South and Bollywood ventures.
