Actress Kajal Aggarwal who worked dominantly in the South film industry has achieved a big milestone as she became the first South Indian female actor to get her wax statue at Madame Tussauds. In December 2019, she had first announced about the same, making her the first south Indian actress to have been honoured with a wax figure at Madame Tussauds Singapore.
The Indian 2 actress unveiled her wax statue today, on February 5, 2020, along with her family and the first photos from the event are out. For the grand occasion, Kajal was seen in a pink jumpsuit with her hair curled and left open. Meanwhile, her wax statues looks absolutely gorgeous dressed in a shimmery gown.
Sharing the picture with her wax statue on Instagram, Kajal Aggarwal wrote. "Success is usually measured through tangible consumerism. A new house, a swanky car, first-class travels to exotic destinations. I’ve somehow never felt the thrill in any of this. People often questioned what success meant. Point is, I never felt I was successful. I’ve found my joy in moments. Moments of growth, moments where I’ve enjoyed my work to the level of being lost in it. I’ve felt so consumed that it’s meditational in quality. Finding your own person, equilibrium, regardless of expectations and pressure is true success! Staying loyal to your tribe and being treated with equality is being successful! The joy of discovering new experiences even though you’ve been exposed to the diverse plethora this world has to offer - success! Your innocence, your eagerness, your passion topped with a whole lot of curiosity to learn, defines success in my mind. I’m blessed to have found all of this in this lifetime and hope to reach the zenith of realising that I know nothing at all !"
Meanwhile, on the work front, Kajal Aggarwal will next be seen in Sanjay Gupta’s film Mumbai Saga which also features Emraan Hashmi and John Abraham. Mumbai Saga is a gangster drama that is set to release in June 2020. The film will portray how Mumbai was filled with gangsters in late 80s and how the rice mills were shut down to make malls in the city. It also stars Suniel Shetty, Jackie Shroff, Gulshan Grover, Rohit Roy, Samir Soni, Amole Gupte and Prateik Babbar in key roles. The actress is also filming for the Kamal Haasan starrer Indian 2.
