Nithiin to reprise Ayushmann Khurrana’s role in Andhadhun Telugu remake, reportedly acquired for Rs. 3.5 crore : Bollywood News

Ayushmann Khurrana, the modern-day hero, garnered immense accolades for his performance in Sriram Raghavan's Andhadhun, in October 2018. He went onto receive Best Actor award at National Film Awards 2019 for his stupendous performance. The Sriram Raghavan film will be remade in Tamil and Telugu. It was already announced that in the Tamil version, Prashanth will take over the lead role.

Now, it’s been revealed that Nithiin will be leading the Telugu version of Andhadhun. The project will be helmed by Merlapaka Gandhi, who has earlier directed by Venkatadri Express and Express Raja. Other details like the lead actresses are yet to be announced.

If the reports are anything to go by, the remake rights of Andhadhun for Telugu was acquired by Nithiin’s banner Shrest Movies which is managed by his father. The amount that is being reported is Rs 3.5 crore.
