Star couple Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan have been making headlines ever since they welcomed their twin boys. Days after the announcement of the arrival of babies, Tamil Nadu Health Minister Ma Subramanian said that an inquiry will be conducted into the matter. As the matter continues, in the latest development, it is revealed that the couple have been married for the past six years.
Yes! You read it right. The reports claiming the same on the internet state that the couple has submitted an affidavit to the Tamil Nadu health department. The speculated affidavit reveals that the surrogate through which the twins were born is a relative of the actress, which is in accordance with the law.
Reportedly, the surrogate is revealed to be based out of Dubai and handles the business of the actress in the country. Meanwhile, it also states that Nayanthara and Vignesh registered their marriage for six years.
For the unversed, according to the surrogacy law of India, any monetary exchange, except medical expenses, is prohibited. As the couple tied the knot four months ago before announcing the birth of their twins, it grabbed the attention of the authority. While the procedure is on, neither Nayanthara nor Vignesh Shivan has issued a statement on the matter, so far.
In the announcement post, Vignesh had written, “Nayan & Me have become Amma & Appa / We are blessed with Twin Baby Boys / All Our prayers,our ancestors’ blessings combined wit all the good manifestations made, have come 2gethr in the form Of 2 blessed babies for us / Need all ur blessings for our Uyir & Ulagam.”
