After Nagarjuna supports Vijay Deverakonda in killing fake news; the latter seeks approval from seniors for conference call

A few days ago actor Vijay Deverakonda shared a video on YouTube where he bashed websites that carried fake news about his foundation and their donations for COVID-19. The actor clearly expressed his disappointment over this matter.

Several big names from the Telugu Film Industry stood in support of the actor. Actor Nagarjuna Akkineni was one among them who also stressed the need for the industry to put a plan into action to fight fake news.

Nagarjuna took to Twitter and wrote, “Dear @KChiruTweets Garu, really appreciate your support to a colleague @TheDeverakonda we all have been through this anguish!! @urstrulyMahesh @RaviTeja_offl @RanaDaggubati @sivakoratala @DirKrish @directorvamshi Stand by you is not enough,WE NEED AN ACTION PLAN!!”.

Several other celebrities including Chiranjeevi, Mahesh Babu, Ravi Teja, Rana Daggubati, Koratala Siva, Vamshi Paidipaly came out in support of Vijay Deverakonda. Chiranjeevi wrote on Twitter, “We stand by you. Pl don't let anything deter ur spirit to do good. Humbly request Journo friends not to peddle individual views as news. #KillFakeNews”.
