All the speculation about Telugu cinema’s most sought-after actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s marriage with Naga Chaitanya has ended. They have announced the end of their marriage on social media.

A source very close to the stunned Akinneni family said they saw it coming long back. “Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Prabhu just drifted apart. Love, in their case just, evaporated. We don’t know whose idea it was to separate. But, the parting is mutual. There is no third-party involved in their separation,” says the source.

The timing of the separation announcement is significant, as Naga Chaitanya requested his wife to withhold the information on their separation for until the release his film Love Story.

A source close to Naga Chaitanya tells, “Chay didn’t want to face the media after the separation was made public. In fact, he is now out of Hyderabad at an unknown destination while all hell has broken lose in the Telugu film industry after its golden couple announced a split.”

The source also adds there is no truth to reports that Samantha has asked for a huge alimony. “She has asked for nothing except her freedom which Naga Chaitanya had in any case given her to the optimum,” says the source.
