The makers were initially looking forward to a Diwali release but now that does not seem to be possible. With the entertainment industry slowly getting back to its feet, Annatthe makers planned to resume shooting from October 23. However, their plans have once again hit a roadblock.
Reportedly, the film has 40 days of shoot remaining and they planned on wrapping up the project by year end. While Rajinikanth is all excited to get back on sets, the makers do not want to expose him toa crew of 200-plus people.
The country recently lost popular playback singer SP Balasubrahmanyam to coronavirus and the industry does not want to risk the life of any actor who is in the vulnerable age bracket. Reportedly, with the sets being constructed, the producer is okay to take a financial hit.
