After Telugu stars Pawan Kalyan and Ram Charan, actor Mahesh Babu has also announced his contribution towards the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Government towards fighting the coronavirus pandemic. The actor took to his social media handle to announce the same and also expressed his gratitude towards the front liners and the government who are putting in efforts to end the spread of the virus.
Mahesh Babu took to Twitter and wrote, “Lauding the exemplary efforts of our Government in tackling the Coronavirus and doing their best to contain it. To support them in this fight, I've decided to do my part, contributing Rs. 1 Crore to the CM Relief Fund of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. I request everyone who can, to come forward and make a donation towards the cause
Every contribution will make a tremendous difference! As a responsible citizen, I urge everyone to abide by the rules and support the lockdown. In these tough times, we have to stand by each other and protect our own. Humanity will rise and we will win this war. Until then, #StayHomeStaySafe”

The actor requested all those who can donate to the cause to come forward and make their contribution. He also urged people to abide by the rules and support the authorities.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Mahesh Babu was last seen in the film Sarileru Neekevvaru. Currently, the actor is in talks with director Parasuram for his next flick. It is rumoured that the makers are in talks with actress Keerthy Suresh to play the female lead.
