On the second day of nationwide lockdown, several celebrities from the Telugu film industry have come forward to donate to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund. After Pawan Kalyan, Ram Charan and Mahesh Babu, Prabhas has announced his contribution to fighting the coronavirus pandemic.
The Baahubali star will donate a massive sum of Rs. 1 crore to the CM Relief Funds of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana for combating coronavirus. Earlier today, Pawan Kalyan took to his Twitter handle to announce that he will donate Rs. 50 lakhs each to the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana CM Relief Funds. This was followed by Ram Charan who pledged to donate Rs. 70 lakhs for both the state governments. Mahesh Babu and Chiranjeevi continued with Rs 1 crore each. Pawan Kalyan also pledged to donate Rs. 1 crore to the Prime Minister Relief Fund.
Despite the coronavirus outbreak in India, the team of Prabhas 20 flew to Georgia in the first week of March. However, after filming for a few days in Tbilisi, the makers decided to halt the shoot for the safety of the cast and crew and returned to India. Upon returning from the European country, Prabhas and Pooja Hegde have decided to self-quarantine for two weeks.
