Madras High Court slams Mansoor Ali Khan after he files defamation case against Trisha Krishnan; says she should have been the one filing the case against him : Bollywood News

Mansoor Ali Khan, found himself at the receiving end after he filed a defamation case against Trisha Krishnan and some renowned names from the South industry. The actor, who was caught in a controversy after making some derogatory remarks about Leo co-star Trisha, was slammed by the court for filing the case, further calling it unworthy.

Reports have it that the Madras High Court lashed out at Mansoor Ali Khan for filing this case and even went on to add that Trisha Krishnan should be the one filing this case against him for such cheap comments. For the unversed, Mansoor, who featured in the film Leo which had Trisha Krishnan as the leading lady, had spoken about not sharing screen space with her in the film at a press conference saying, “When I heard that I was acting with Trisha, I thought there would be a bedroom scene in the film. I thought that I could carry her to the bedroom just like I did with other actresses in my earlier movies. I have done so many rape scenes in a number of movies and it's not new to me. But these guys didn't even show Trisha to me on the sets during the Kashmir schedule.”

The remarks had sparked a major uproar on social media with the actress too slamming Khan for making such derogatory remarks about a woman. Supporting her were many of the celebrities including Leo director Lokesh Kanagaraj, megastar Chiranjeevi, 90s star Khushbu Sundar, among others. Followed by this social media uproar and a round of police questioning, Khan took to the platform to pen a public apology to Trisha Krishnan for his comments.

Post the police inquiry and after no legal action was taken against the actor, Mansoor filed a defamation complaint against Trisha Krishnan for calling him out for his comments and also against celebrities like Chiranjeevi and Khushbu Sundar for extending their support to her without listening to his side of the story.
