Trisha Krishnan reacts to Leo actor Mansoor Ali Khan’s post saying ‘Forgive Me Trisha’

Mansoor Ali Khan recently took to social media to share a cryptic post wherein he was seen saying, ‘forgive me’.

Readers would be aware that a major backlash followed after Mansoor Ali Khan made some sexist and derogatory comments about sharing screen space with Leo co-actress Trisha Krishnan. The issue further got intensified with the intervention of NCW and later by the Chennai Police with even an FIR being registered against Khan for his remarks on ‘rape’ and doing ‘bedroom scene’ with Trisha. While the latter took to social media to share a long cryptic post, which concluded with ‘Forgive Me Trisha’, the actress too has now reacted to this statement.

In an earlier post shared by Trisha Krishnan on X, formerly known as Twitter, the actress had condemned the comments made by Khan and had vowed that she has never and would never in the future, want to share screen space with him. However, after Mansoor Ali Khan took to social media on November 24 to post about the matter, now Trisha too seems to have taken to the platform to pen her thoughts. “To err is human,to forgive is divine,” the actress posted. Followed by this post, many of her well-wishers and fans expressed support and continued to school Khan for his statements.

A day ago, Khan’s long note concluded with a message in Tamil saying, “My co-actress Trisha, Please forgive me! May God bless the fortune for me to bless your Mangalyam (marital necklace) as it goes around in the coconut tray in the auspicious marital ritual! Amen. ---Mansoor Ali Khan".

Speaking about his earlier comment which led to this outrage, it all started with Mansoor Ali Khan expressing his disappointment of not sharing screen space with Trisha Krishnan, who is the leading lady of the recently released film Leo. He had said, "When I heard that I was acting with Trisha, I thought there would be a bedroom scene in the film. I thought I would carry her to the bedroom just like I did other actresses in my earlier movies. I have done so many rape scenes and it's not new to me. But these guys didn't show Trisha to me on the sets during the shoot in Kashmir."
