Raveena Tandon is on a roll. She is in no mood to move away from the limelight. She has lately been searching for roles that take her beyond her obvious glamorous avatar. In KGF: Chapter 2, she played a politician with grey shades. Now in Jatadhara, Raveena will push the envelope even further. She plays the archvillain of the kind no leading actress has played in Indian cinema.
“The face-offs between Sudheer Babu and Raveena Tandon will be like nothing we’ve seen on screen. The action will take the actors notches above what Raveena did with Yash in KGF 2,” said a source.
Interestingly, this is Raveena’s second foray into big scale South Indian cinema after KGF: Chapter 2, and likely to give her a chance to diversify and expand on her image.
Sudheer Babu is all set to take his career to new heights with the Pan-India cinematic universe Jatadhara. Spearheaded by the acclaimed producer Prerna Arora along with Shivin Narang, this film marks Sudheer Babu’s grand entry into a supernatural fantasy world that promises to captivate audiences across the nation.
The film is backed by producer Prerna Arora behind hits like Rustom, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, Padman, and Pari. The pre-production is already in full swing, with preparations happening on an unprecedented scale.
Jatadhara is set for a release on Mahashivratri 2025.
