Tamil superstar Rajinikanth displayed a rare moment of irritation when confronted with a political question during his recent arrival in Chennai. The incident occurred ahead of the audio launch of his upcoming film, Vettaiyan.

As reported by India Today, the superstar had taken a brief hiatus from his ongoing film shoot of Coolie in Visakhapatnam to attend the much-anticipated event, scheduled for September 20 at the Nehru Indoor Stadium. As he stepped out of the Chennai International Airport, reporters eagerly sought his insights on various aspects of the film and the guest list.

While Rajinikanth graciously responded to queries about the film's audio launch, his patience waned when a journalist inquired about the potential role of Udhayanidhi Stalin, a prominent DMK politician and former actor, in the upcoming Tamil Nadu government. The actor's demeanour shifted noticeably, as he firmly stated, "Do not ask me political questions."

Vettaiyan, a highly anticipated film directed by TJ Gnanavel and produced by Lyca Productions, boasts a stellar ensemble cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh, and Dushara Vijayan. The film is set to hit theatres on October 10, and audiences are eagerly awaiting its release.

The film's soundtrack, composed by Anirudh Ravichander, has already generated significant buzz with the release of two tracks, ‘Manasilaayo’ and ‘Hunter Vaarar’. The remaining songs will be unveiled at the grand audio launch.

Following Vettaiyan, Rajinikanth is gearing up for another exciting project, Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.
