Kannada actor Sampath J Ram passes away; reports state its suicide : Bollywood News

For the unversed, Sampath J Ram, who was recently receiving a lot of appreciation for his performance in the film Shri Balaji Photo Studio, reportedly was found dead at his residence in Nelamangala, a rural taluka near Bengaluru in Karnataka. The Kannada industry, which woke up to this shocking news on April 22, have penned a heartfelt note on the loss and this also includes Shri Balaji Photo Studio filmmaker Rajesh Dhruva as well as actor Vijay Suriya who shared a close bond with Sampath since they worked for the show Agnisakshi.

Rajesh Dhruva took to Facebook to share a few photos and also penned an emotional note to the late Sampath J Ram, with whom he worked in Shri Balaji Photo Studio, saying, “We don’t have the strength to bear your separation. So many films are to be made yet. So many fights are left to be fought. There is still a lot of time to make your dreams come true. We still have to see you on the big stage. Come back please.”

Along with him, Sampath’s Agnisakshi co-star Vijay Suriya too opened up about the loss in an interview with Times Of India. He said, "I did not expect anything like this to happen in his life this soon. He was looking forward to good opportunities as an actor. He wanted to grow heights in his career and was very ambitious. Sampath was a very dear friend to me. I can't believe that he has left us early!" In the same interview, Vijay also revealed that initially he thought it was some kind of prank because he couldn’t believe the news. "It is very shocking to hear a news like this on Akshaya Tritiya. Initially, I thought it was a prank. But, when I made few calls to check about the news, I got it confirmed. It is indeed a shocking and sad news."

The 35-year-old actor is expected to have committed suicide although there have been no details on the same. We hear that the late Sampath J Ram tied the knot last year.
