Kalki 2898 AD: Teaser of Prabhas starrer to release during Sankranti 2024; receives certificate from CBFC : Bollywood News

Kalki 2898 AD is one of the highly anticipated films which has been in news ever since its conception. After receiving a grand launch of its first look at the Comic Con in USA, the makers are now planning to unveil its teaser and an auspicious occasion is expected to have been locked for the same. Reports suggest that this sneak peek into the Prabhas, Deepika Padukone starrer will be unveiled during the festival of Sankranti and preps have already kick started with the makers also receiving a green signal from the Central Board of Film Certification aka CBFC.

Although not many details of the teaser have been revealed as yet, a social media user has posted the CBFC certificate which was stamped with the date January 11 as its date of certification. Going by the same, the movie category given to the teaser is UA and it is being said that this video clip will be 1 minute 23 seconds long. In the earlier clip of Kalki 2898 AD which was launched during the Comic Con, makers gave audiences a glimpse of the characters essayed by the lead cast and this time around, the teaser promises to give them a deeper insight into the plotline of the upcoming entertainer.

Readers would be aware that this is considered to be a magnum opus of Nag Ashwin which is expected to be set in a post-apocalyptic period. From extensive sets to costumes, Kalki 2898 AD has been mounted on a massive budget and fans are also eager to witness the fresh pairing of Prabhas and Deepika Padukone on the big screen. The sci-fi drama is also expected to feature an ensemble cast of Kamal Haasan, Amitabh Bachchan, and Disha Patani. Produced under the banner Vyjayanthi Movies, the release date of the film is yet to be locked.
