EXCLUSIVE: Sriya Reddy expresses her desire to retain a deleted scene in Salaar Part 2; says, “I will convince Prashanth” : Bollywood News

Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire garnered ample eyeballs not only for its extensive sets where Prashanth Neel went all out to create the fictional state of Khansaar but also for its intense characters. Among them was not only Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran, but also Sriya Reddy who essays the character of the power packed Radha Rama Manna, an antagonist. Recently as she opened up about the massive response and admiration coming her way because of her performance in the film to Bollywood Hungama, the actress revealed about her own ‘high point’ scenes from the film.

In fact, in the interaction, Sriya Reddy revealed that they actually decided to cut one of her best scenes during edit table but the actress asserted that it was a worth watching moment. Going further, she also mentioned that she would find a way to convince Prashanth Neel to retain it. “I think the interval scene is one of my favorite scenes where, you know, she is like this comes out of the boondocks. And she's expressing something so strong. She's talking about the hero's character, and she is fearless. She's not letting go of that. And the intensity she has in her eyes at that point is something I think is was a very high point for me as an actor,” she told Bollywood Hungama while talking about her favourite scene from the film.

Sriya continued, “There also there were other scenes as well. In the second half, which I like, there was a fantastic scene which was deleted, which was brilliant. And I hopefully they will keep that particular scene for part two, maybe as a recap. Yeah, and I really hope that is there. I'm going to convince Prashant to keep that scene. It was brilliant scene.”

After the love that Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire, the makers went on to announce the second part of the action entertainer too which is expected to be titled Salaar Part 2: Shouryanga Parvam. The franchise also features Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, among others in key roles.
