Audiences are eagerly awaiting the release of the sci-fi film Kalki 2898 AD starring Prabhas. Not too long ago, the makers introduced the fifth hero and the futuristic vehicle ‘Bujji’ in a massive event in Hyderabad. Now, we hear that Bujji, whose voice is provided by popular actress Keerthy Suresh, has taken on a nationwide tour and it has now arrived in style and pomp in Mumbai ahead of the grand trailer release.

Speaking of Bujji, touted to be an Indian engineering marvel weighing six tons, it has already made waves earlier in Chennai and has now taken over the streets of Mumbai. At an exciting ‘Meet Bujji’ event on June 7, the life-size futuristic vehicle was introduced to thousands of fans and media personnel as it dominated the streets of the Juhu neighbourhood in Mumbai, cruising in and around the iconic Juhu Beach.

Playing a crucial role in the film, this vehicle is expected to be Prabhas’ character Bhairava’s trusted best friend. The makers recently released a ‘B&B: Bujji and Bhairava’ prelude on the streaming platform Amazon Prime Video, which introduced audiences to the shenanigans of Bhairava and Bujji, along with exploring their bond.

Coming to the movie, Kalki 2898 AD is a multilingual, mythology-inspired sci-fi post-apocalyptic spectacle set hundreds of years ahead in the future and features an ensemble star cast with the likes of Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani in key roles along with Prabhas in the titular role. With music by Santosh, the film’s crew includes cinematographer Djordje Stojiljkovic, editor Kotagiri Venkateshwara Rao, and extensive costumes team.

Being the ambitious venture of filmmaker Nag Ashwin, the film is produced by Vyjayanthi Movies. While the trailer will be unveiled on June 10, the film hits the screens on June 27, 2024 in multiple languages including all South languages as well as Hindi.
