The team of Kamal Haasan starrer Indian 2 were just a few days away from wrapping the shoot of the film when a tragic incident took place on the sets on Wednesday night. After a crane crashed during the filming, three people died and left nine crew members injured.
Now, actor Kamal Haasan has announced a compensation of Rs 1 crore for the families of the deceased. The actor also visited the families of the deceased earlier today.
After the tragic incident, Kamal Haasan tweeted his condolences about the unfortunate accident.

He even gave updates from the hospital.

Meanwhile, Kajal Aggarwal, who escaped in the "fraction of a second to stay alive" wrote, "In so much shock, denial, trauma from the monstrous crane accident last night.
