EXCLUSIVE: “S.S. Rajamouli was very particular about the synchronization” – says RRR actor Jr. NTR on taking a lot of retakes for ‘Naacho Naacho’ dance with Ram Charan : Bollywood News

Ace filmmaker SS Rajamouli directorial RRR starring Ram Charan, Jr. NTR, Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn is all set to hit theaters on January 7, 2022. The superstar along with Baahubali director spoke of the much talked-about song of the film ‘Naacho Naacho’ and revealed that the dance sequence of the song took quite a few retakes.

In a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, SS Rajamauli said, “The dance sequence of ‘Naacho Naacho’ was only shot where they had to do a lot of retakes, otherwise hardly four or five takes for each were done for the rest of the film.”

Jr. NTR further said, “It wasn’t because we weren’t dancing well. It was because we were not synchronizing. I really didn’t expect it. It wasn’t like a big, difficult step. It was a very simple step. I understand synchronization but he (SS Rajamouli) was very particular about it. I never understood that when two people have different styles of dancing, it’s all right but for him he was very particular. But when the song released, it was a rage and everybody was only talking about the synchronization.”

Rajamouli said that he wants the film to run as long as Salman Khan has blessed them to. While talking about his bond with Ram Charan, Jr.NTR said that they’ve been very good friends for a long time.

RRR is Telugu-language period action drama film directed by S. S. Rajamouli, and produced by D. V. V. Danayya of DVV Entertainments. It is a fictional story about two Indian revolutionaries, Alluri Sitarama Raju (Charan) and Komaram Bheem (Rama Rao), who fought against the British Raj and Nizam of Hyderabad respectively.

Made on a budget of Rs. 400 crore (US $53 million),RRR was initially scheduled for theatrical release on 30^th July 2020, which has been deferred due to production delays and followed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
