Actor Dhanush took to Twitter to shower praise on Jigarthanda DoubleX, the latest creation by director Karthik Subbaraj. The film, set to hit theatres soon, has already garnered attention for its stellar cast, including Raghava Lawrence and SJ Suryah.

In his tweet, Dhanush expressed his admiration for the film's craft, highlighting Karthik Subbaraj's fantastic directorial skills. He specifically commended SJ Suryah, stating, "Being amazing has become a usual deal for @iam_SJSuryah." Dhanush also lauded Raghava Lawrence as a revelation in his performance and acknowledged the beauty of the musical score by Santhosh Narayanan. He capped off his tweet by wishing the entire crew and cast the best for their upcoming release.

Jigarthanda DoubleX is being hailed as a 'spiritual successor' to the 2014 film Jigarthanda, both helmed by Karthik Subbaraj. The director revealed that the movie pays homage to Hollywood icon Clint Eastwood and incorporates references to legendary filmmaker Satyajit Ray. SJ Suryah plays a former assistant of Ray, adding a unique dimension to the character.

Set in 1975, the film aims to capture the essence of that era, with Karthik Subbaraj explaining, "The story of Jigarthanda DoubleX is set in 1975, and at that time, Satyajit Ray was a working legend, and I wanted to incorporate it into the story." The movie promises a visual and narrative tribute to the influential filmmaker.

Jigarthanda DoubleX, featuring a stellar cast including Nimisha Sajayan, Shine Tom Chacko, and Naveen Chandra, is poised to captivate audiences with its intriguing storyline and exceptional performances.
