Dhanush, Mahesh Babu, Dulquer Salmaan, and Rakshit Shetty launch ‘more than a teaser’ of Jigarthanda Double X

Popular Tamil film Jigarthanda is all set to return to the screens and this time it is expected to feature ‘double’ the entertainment. Recently, the makers of this upcoming action entertainer titled Jigarthanda Double X, starring Raghava Lawrence and S J Suryah together for the first time, unveiled its ‘more than a teaser’. In fact, the makers wanted to keep it grand and the sneak peek of the movie was unveiled by the superstars in the industry which included Dhanush, Mahesh Babu, Dulquer Salmaan, and Rakshit Shetty who unveiled this teaser in multiple languages.

The more than a teaser was released on September 11 at 12:12 pm by Stonebench Films’ of their film Jigarthanda Double X directed by Karthik Subbaraj. While the Tamil teaser was released by Dhanush, Telugu teaser was unveiled by Mahesh Babu, Malayalam by Dulquer Salmaan, and Kannada by Rakshit Shetty. Leading men Raghava Lawrence and S J Suryah are expected to successfully completed the shooting of the film and the post-production works are expected to be on in full swing. The team is currently striving hard to ensure that the film hits the big screens for Diwali. Besides multiple fresh and interesting locations spread across Tamil Nadu and Kerala, some more sets were also erected to suit the needs as per the film’s script.

Talking about the film, producer Kaarthekeyen Santhanam said, "We had fruitful and extensive shoot spread across many locations for this big project. We are eagerly looking forward for releasing it for Diwali this year." Director Karthik Subbaraj continued, “The film is a creatively satisfying experience for all of us. We had shot Jigarthanda Double X in some of the most exotic locations. I am sure we are going to present a very exciting experience to the audience. I sincerely thank my actors, technicians and all others who supported this huge project."

Jigathanda DoubleX is an action drama which falls under the action gangster genre just like its prequel. National award-winning cinematographer Tirru, who shares a great rapport with Karthik Subbaraj and worked together in films such as Mercury and Rajinikanth starrer Petta, is a part of this film along with editing by Shafiq Mohammed Ali. The music composed by Santhosh Narayanan, who interestingly, also scored for Jigarthanda and has been part of most of Karthik’s earlier movies as well.

Produced by Kaarthekeyen Santhanam, Jigarthanda Double X is all set to be a Diwali treat which will release in Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, and Kannada.
