Dhanush to direct Tamil actor Arun Vijay in his next project: Report : Bollywood News

Tamil cinema actor Dhanush, has been on a roll in 2024, both as an actor and a director. His latest directorial venture, Raayan, a gripping action crime drama, has not only been a critical success but has also raked in significant box office numbers, marking a milestone as his 50th film. He is now set to collaborate with another prominent Tamil actor, Arun Vijay, for his next film.

As reported by Hindustan Times, sources close to the development revealed that Dhanush will not only direct Arun Vijay but may also play a significant role in the film. "Yes, Arun Vijay is acting in this film to be directed by Dhanush and Dhanush is likely to play an important character in this film as well," stated the source.

While further details about the film's plot and cast are yet to be officially announced, it is anticipated that Dhanush's signature style of storytelling, often set in rural Tamil Nadu with strong characters and action-packed sequences, will be evident in this new project.

Dhanush is currently exploring locations in southern Tamil Nadu for an upcoming film and is also gearing up for the release of Kubera, a highly anticipated film directed by Shekhar Kammula and co-starring Rashmika Mandanna, Nagarjuna Akkineni, and Jim Sarbh. Kubera is expected to hit theaters in December 2024.

Dhanush's Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam, a romantic comedy with music by GV Prakash Kumar, boasts an impressive ensemble cast including Pavish, Anikha Surendran, Priya Prakash Varrier, Mathew Thomas, Venkatesh Menon, Rabiya Khatoon, and Ramya Ranganathan. Priyanka Mohan is set to make a cameo appearance in the film.

Meanwhile, Arun Vijay has another exciting project lined up. He is currently working on director Bala's Vanangaan, an action drama that is scheduled for release in October 2024.
