‘Delta or Omicron’: I&B Ministry plays around with Allu Arjun’s Pushpa dialogue

The I&B Ministry’s meme showcases a still from the film with Allu Arjun’s face covered up by a mask. The film’s iconic phrase, “Pushpa, Pushpa Raj… Main jhukega nahi," has been altered with “DELTA HO YA OMICRON, MAIN MASK UTAAREGA NAHI."

For the unversed, it was the dialogue by Allu Arjun’s character in the Hindi dubbed version of the film Pushpa: The Rise. The I&B Ministry used the dialogue to promote wearing masks, following social distancing, and washing hands as the nation is still fighting COVID-19
