In a tweet, Deverakonda urged Elon Musk, the founder of Tesla, to begin operations in India from Telangana. “Come to Hyderabad - India! It will be epic to have you. The Government here in Telangana is terrific too,” the actor said in a tweet.

The Telangana government recently issued an invitation to Tesla and SpaceX creator Elon Musk to establish his Indian operations in the state. Elon Musk has been offered the opportunity to construct a vehicle factory in Telangana by the state administration. KT Rama Rao, Telangana's Industries and Commerce Minister, said his state would be "delighted" to work with Tesla to develop its facility.

On January 14, the ministry responded to Elon Musk in a letter. “Hey Elon, I am the Industry & Commerce Minister of Telangana state in India. Will be happy to partner with Tesla in working through the challenges to set shop in India/Telangana. Our state is a champion in sustainability initiatives & a top-notch business destination in India.”

Elon Musk recently tweeted, "Still working through a lot of challenges with the government’ in response to a user’s query about Tesla’s launch in India."

On the work front, Vijay Deverakonda and Puri Jagannadh have finished a Liger schedule in America. Mike Tyson will also play a key role in the film, according to the producers. The shooting has been temporarily halted due to an increase in Covid-19 cases. In the film, Vijay plays an MMA fighter, and the film also stars Ramya Krishna and Ronit Roy.
