Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse just gave fans another glimpse of Spider-Man 2099 in a brand new still. Shameik Moore reprises his role as Miles Morales in the sequel to the critically acclaimed 2018’s Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse. The new still gives a sneak peek at the seemingly intense battle that’s going to happen between Morales and Miguel O'Hara/Spider-Man 2099, the sequel's antagonist.
“The things that we’re doing in this new Spider-Verse movie are breaking the pipelines all over again. But everyone’s excited about it and not just terrified,” Spider-Verse’s producers Phil Lord and Chris Miller told The Wrap before Lord added, "It's definitely more insane. We finally made some people nervous. I feel like we've done our job."

After reuniting with Gwen Stacy, Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is catapulted across the Multiverse, where he encounters a team of Spider-People charged with protecting its very existence. But when the heroes clash on how to handle a new threat, Miles finds himself pitted against the other Spiders and must redefine what it means to be a hero so he can save the people he loves most.
Directed by Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers and Justin K. Thompson, the film stars Shameik Moore, Hailee Steinfeld, Jake Johnson, Issa Rae, Daniel Kaluuya, Jason Schwartzman, Brian Tyree Henry, Luna Lauren Velez, Greta Lee, Rachel Dratch, Jorma Taccone, Shea Whigham and Oscar Isaac.
Sony Pictures Entertainment India releases Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse on June 2, 2023, in English, Hindi, Tamil & Telugu. The Spider-Verse trilogy concludes in 2024 with Beyond the Spider-Verse.
