Jackson Wang announced as new house ambassador of luxury brand Louis Vuitton

Popular musician Jackson Wang, a Hong-Kong-born artist and rapper in the K-pop group GOT7, has been announced as the new brand ambassador of the luxury brand Louis Vuitton. The brand took to social media to make the official announcement.

Dressed in all black in Louis Vuitton couture at Paris Fashion Week 2023, the caption read, “@jacksonwang852g7 for #LouisVuitton. The Maison is pleased to announce that the world-renowned singer will be joining as the new House Ambassador.”

Jackson Wang, who is currently on the Magic Man world tour and was in Europe for the same, showed up at the men’s fashion show of Louis Vuitton at the ongoing fashion week in an all-black ensemble. He was seen interacting with fellow guests such as Usher, Tyga, Singaporean singer JJ Lin and Chinese actor Jasper Liu.

Before signing on as a Louis Vuitton ambassador, Jackson Wang has been in popular demand and has been a face of several huge brands including Armani Perfume in APAC and Hennessy. He has been attached as China ambassador for Fendi, a “friend of the house” at Cartier and a spokesperson for Ray-Ban. He previously worked with Pepsi, too.

Jackson Wang is also a businessman who owns an entertainment agency Team Wang and a fashion brand Team Wang Designs.

On the music front, after being an active member of GOT7, Jackson Wang has been actively working as a solo artist. He released his first solo EP Mirrors in 2018 and his first studio album Mirrors in 2020. While he has released several singles and collaborations over the past few years, he dropped his second studio album Magic Man in September 2022.

He has been on his first solo world tour. The musician is set to perform in India for the first time at the Asia debut of Lollapalooza in Mumbai on January 29, 2023. He is also set to return to Coachella in April 2023.
