Doja Cat covered her body in 30,000 swarovski crystals for Fashion Week; spends 5 HOURS in the make-up chair as she dons head-to-toe red body paint

With a special presentation held by the storied couture brand Schiaparelli displaying their Spring-Summer 2023 collection, the Paris Couture Week got off to a strong start. Some of the most well-known figures in the entertainment and fashion industries, including Kylie Jenner, Doja Cat, and many more, attended the star-studded event. The reality television star's and the singer-outfits, songwriter's however, are what caught the eye of online users and fashionistas all over the world. It might be challenging to tell one artist from another when so many are being found online every day. Since it seems like a challenge for artists to break out from the generic pool, the internet generation has undoubtedly turned into a difficult audience to please. Doja Cat is undoubtedly one of those artists that has succeeded in breaking over this barrier and winning over fans.

This past weekend's Paris Fashion Week was crowned by Doja Cat. The singer of "Need to Know" arrived at the Schiaparelli Haute Couture fashion show dressed in a crimson crystal-studded gown. On the opening day of Couture Week, Doja made a dramatic arrival decked out in trompe l'oeil toe boots, a crimson silk faille bustier, a hand-knit skirt made of lacquered wooden beads, and 30,000 hand-placed Swarovski crystals. She interestingly created her appearance by donning red jewels and painted herself crimson from head to toe. With a matching long red cloak and crimson earrings, Doja Cat finished off her appearance.

"Doja's Inferno" was brought to life by celebrity makeup artist Pat McGrath. The makeup artist and entrepreneur spent "4 hours and 58 minutes" hand-placing each crystal with her team onto Doja's skin, McGrath shared on Instagram. The singer and fashion icon's hair were covered in caps, then her skin in paint, before crystals and gold dust were applied to her body.
