BTS' Jungkook donates over Rs. 6.2 crores to Seoul children's hospital in generous gesture

South Korean super band BTS’ singer Jungkook recently made a generous donation of 100 billion Won (over Rs. 6.2 crores) in support of children’s hospital in Seoul. The singer contributed to Seoul National University Children’s Hospital.

According to NME report, Jungkook’s donation will aid in the funding of medical expenses for kids who come from low-income households. It will also be put towards the hospital’s comprehensive care center plan.

“I hope my donation can be a bit of a help to children in danger, and I hope children can smile happy,” Jungkook said in a statement. The hospital also thanked the singer for his generous gesture, acknowledging that donations like his are crucial for sustaining their operations.

The Seoul National University Children's Hospital not only provides medical care to children but also operates a comprehensive care center aimed at supporting the families of young patients.

Meanwhile, Jungkook recently returned to South Korea after attending Coachella 2023 privately. The singer was just spotted at Coachella on April 15, enjoying The Kid Laroi set at the Sahara stage.

The youngest member of the group recently traveled from Seoul to the US to record a song for a rumored collaboration with Justin Bieber. The singer met with Scott 'Scooter' Braun (who closely works with Bieber), Bang Si Hyuk, Andrew Watt, and others at the US studio.
