BTS' Jimin is on a history making spree as he becomes the first K-pop soloist to feature in Top 40 on UK's Official singles chart for 3 weeks. Just days ago, the singer became the first Korean soloist to grab No. 1 spot on Billboard's Hot 100 and Artist 100 charts.

Last month, Jimin made history as the first K-pop solo artist ever to enter the top 30 of the United Kingdom’s Official Singles Chart when his new title track ‘Like Crazy’ debuted at No. 8. According to the Korean tabloid Soompi, on April 14, the Official Charts (the U.K. equivalent to Billboard’s U.S. charts) revealed that ‘Like Crazy’ had successfully remained in the top 40 of its Official Singles Chart for the third consecutive week.

For the week of April 14 to 20, ‘Like Crazy’ charted at No. 38. With this, Jimin made history by becoming the first Korean soloist to spend three weeks in the top 40 of the Official Singles Chart. The chart-topping single also secured the 5th spot on both the Official Singles Sales Chart and the Official Singles Downloads Chart for the third consecutive week.

‘Like Crazy’ is a part of Jimin’s long-awaited solo debut with album FACE. It contains a total of 5 tracks including ‘Set Me Free Pt.2’, ‘Like Crazy’, ‘Face-off’, ‘Interlude: Dive’, and ‘Alone’. FACE illustrates the honest feelings Jimin experienced during the pandemic. It represents Jimin’s breakthrough and growth achieved through vanquishing loneliness and struggles beneath the glare of stardom.

Jimin finally stands at a new starting point after facing himself entirely, as suggested in the title of the album. On the first day itself, the hot album had created history in Hanteo charts by becoming the first album by any solo artist to sell over a million copies on the day of its release.
