You have set a new benchmark for everyone to strive for. The last two yeats have been simply phenomenal for Hindi films and the industry couldn’t be happier!”

As soon as the post was shared, fans flooded the comments section with requests for YRF to cast Shraddha Kapoor in their upcoming films.

It is worth noting here that Stree 2 has broken several box-office records including the records set by YRF’s Pathaan. The Shraddha Kapoor starrer passed the lifetime collection of the Shah Rukh Khan starrer in just 22 days. Later, the horror-comedy went on to cross Jawan and Animal’s BO numbers as well.

Speaking of the producer of Stree 2, Dinesh Vijan will be felicitated at the 7th Big Cine Expo this year. Readers may recall that Bollywood Hungama was the first one to report the same. A source told us, “All the theatrical films of Dinesh Vijan this year – Teri Baaton Main Aisa Uljha Jiya, Munjya and above all, Stree 2 – have been huge hits. Stree 2 especially has gone on to become a blockbuster of epic proportions. Even the other two films did more than what was expected, and these movies gave oxygen to the exhibition sector. Last year, too, he delivered a sleeper hit in the form of Zara Hatke Zara Bachke (2023).”
