Yami Gautam Dhar shares how she shot for A Thursday during her wedding shenanigans; says, “On set, it’s dark, it’s intense” : Bollywood News

Bollywood actress Yami Gautam has given several renowned performances in her career. The actress has carved a niche for herself with numerous projects, right from, Chor Nikal Ke Bhaaga, Kaabil, A Thursday, OMG 2 amongst others. Recently, she shared an intriguing detail about one of her projects, A Thursday. She disclosed that she was shooting for this intimidating role, amidst her wedding celebrations.

In conversation with a leading channel, Yami stated, “When I had to shoot the climax of A Thursday, I had just gotten married. So at home, it’s all about yayy, happiness.. but on set, it’s dark, it's intense! It's been so much to let go everything, to forget everything and switch off from that, adjust and dive into it because if your climax doesn't land, and if it is not performed in a certain way, the way it has been written, it doesn't work.”

She further added, “But I think deep down it does get pented up somewhere in your emotions and I think it took me a while to realize that and I've been working back-to-back on all these challenging roles. I haven't taken a break and somewhere it does pent up.”

On the work front, Yami was last seen in OMG 2 alongside Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi. The film performed well at the box office and is now available on Netflix. Yami will be next seen in the caper comedy Dhoom Dhaam opposite Pratik Gandhi. The actress is currently shooting for her upcoming film, which is currently kept under wraps.
