Actor Ajay Devgn is all set for the release of his upcoming film Bholaa, an official remake of the Tamil film Kaithi. The actor has been sharing some intriguing posters of the film that has successfully garnered a lot of curiosity and attention. On Thursday, the makers shared news of wrapping the shoot of the film.

The shooting for Ajay Devgn featuring Bholaa has come to an end. On Thursday, Ajay took to Instagram and shared this news with his social media fans and followers, he said, “Shooting has wrapped; the post-production frenzy has already begun. Remember, we have a date – March 30th in the theatres,” a post read on Ajay Devgn Ffilms’ Instagram handle.

Fans that had been waiting for the arrival of this film expressed their excitement in the comments section of the post. Ajay Devgn re-shared the post on his story, therefore reaching more audience.

There were reports suggesting Abhishek Bachchan joining the cast of this film. A source of a portal mentioned, “Details of Abhishek Bachchan’s special appearance are being closely guarded, he plays a gangster on a mission to retrieve a lost contraband. Abhishek will be seen sporting a rugged look, complete with a beard. While a large chunk of the movie has been shot on sets in Hyderabad and Mumbai, Ajay was clear that the confrontational sequences and the theme song would be filmed in real locations in Uttar Pradesh.” The source adds that Bachchan’s character will feature more prominently in the Bholaa sequel that is in the works.

Bholaa is an official Hindi remake of the Tamil hit Kaithi and Ajay has directed it. The story revolves around a one-man army, set in one night, fighting a multitude of enemies in various forms, human and otherwise.

The film will also feature Tabu, Sanjay Mishra, Deepak Dobrial, Raai Lakshmi, and Makrand Deshpande in prominent roles. The film is slated to release in theatres on March 30, 2023. Ajay will also be seen in producer Boney Kapoor’s upcoming sports drama film Maidaan, besides in director Neeraj Pandey’s upcoming film and in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again opposite Deepika Padukone.
