Salman Khan’s brother-in-law and actor Aayush Sharma started his acting career back in 2018 with Loveyatri. Later, he was seen in Antim: The Final Truth, in which he was seen playing the antagonist opposite Salman Khan. Lately, the actor was busy shooting his upcoming film, Ruslaan. Sharing an update on the same, on Friday, Sharma announced the wrap.

On June 30, Aayush took to his verified Instagram handle and dropped a fresh still from the upcoming flick. The post featured him holding a rifle. In the caption, Aayush wrote, “Gun Aur Guitar Dono neeche rakh diye hain.. it’s a wrap of a beautiful journey called #ruslaan.”

He further added, “Cant thank everyone who worked on this movie and helped us cross the finishing line. Very soon will unwrap the world of #ruslaan to all of you.” The post has delighted a section of moviegoers as they flooded the comments section with red-heart and fire emoticons.

Speaking of the film, Aayush started shooting for the final schedule in May. A month before commencing the final schedule, he had shared the teaser of his upcoming film. The clip featured him performing some high-octane and stylised action while offering a glimpse into the adrenaline rush the film has to offer. It also featured striking glimpses of other pivotal characters including debutante Sushrii Mishraa, veteran South star Jagapathi Babu and Vidya Malavade.

Produced by KK Radhamohan, under the banner of Srisathyasai Arts, Ruslaan brings together Aayush Sharma with Jagapathi Babu for the first time. Directed by Katyayan Shivpuri, the film is slated for release in 2023 but the date is yet to be locked.
